This book nook is designed around the idea of a quiet Halloween night in front of a witch’s house. The front shows a steep-roofed façade with arched windows, hanging lamps and a small porch where two children in costumes stand with pumpkin buckets. Behind them are details such as a ghost figure, carved pumpkins and a wooden sign for the house.
The interior side wall focuses on the work area of the witch: shelves of books, potion bottles, a desk with open book and candle, and a separate lighted pumpkin lantern box. The background uses a full moon, bats and a bare tree to complete the seasonal setting. Layered structures and many small objects were arranged so the scene remains readable even when viewed between books on a shelf.
