The design of Dark Box Mystery Case is based on classic detective stories set in private studies. The scene combines a ground-floor work area with piano and bookshelves and an upper-floor balcony where figures can observe a case board covered with notes and maps. Chains, framed portraits and instruments are arranged to recall the interior of a traditional investigation room. The tall, narrow layout is planned so the finished piece can stand between books on a shelf, with the illuminated interior suggesting an ongoing case inside a closed volume.

    This kit requires 2 pcs of AAA batteries.

Warm LED light with touch control

The interior can be lit by the LED light component, and the top touch area is used to switch the light on and off. The battery box is placed inside the spine-side compartment, keeping it out of view from the front.

Two-storey mystery study scene

This kit builds a tall, two-level detective-style study with a balcony rail and hanging chains. The finished scene features a central desk, book-filled shelves, framed wall details and a small piano area for an investigation-room display.

Laser-cut wood build with printed details

The structure is assembled from laser-cut wooden boards. Wall and floor patterns are provided as printed surfaces and sticker details, and the manual uses step-by-step diagrams to guide placement and alignment. Glue is required for some steps.

Protective acrylic front panel and key parts

The front acrylic panel helps keep the interior visible and protected after assembly. The kit also features metal chains and rings, sticker sheets, a mechanical music movement, tweezers and an illustrated assembly manual. Glue and batteries are not included.
